22nd and 23rd January this year AIR Spain II took place, an event to optimize research, knowledge and treatment of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF).
The aim of the conference was to conclude results from clinical practice and provide the medical community with the opportunity to learn about the disease in more detail. Thus, more than 150 specialists in the areas of pulmonology, radiology and pathology met and could discuss the latest scientific advances and the challenges of IPF.
This second meeting was a digital experience for attendees, thanks to our event App, delegates could participate through interactive voting in real time, send questions to the speaker, follow presentations on their own tablets, consult the schedule of the event and biographies of the speakers.
Video mapping and Oculus augmented reality glasses were used, a 3D vision of the life of a patient with IPF from the first symptoms to maintaining the quality of life, added the finishing touches to the meeting.
